A logo that looks perfect on screen doesn’t always print cleanly on fabric. Here’s what actually matters for logo design for bag printing.
Keep Fine Detail to a Minimum
Thin lines, small text, and intricate gradients tend to blur on screen-printed non-woven bags. Bold shapes, clear typography, and 1-3 solid colours print far more reliably at scale.
Choose Colours That Contrast With the Bag
Dark logos on light non-woven fabric (or vice versa) print cleaner than similar-toned combinations. If your brand colours are close in tone to your chosen bag colour, consider an outline or a contrasting background patch.
Vector Files Print Better
Always send your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, or high-resolution PDF) rather than a compressed JPEG — this avoids pixelation when the design is scaled up for printing plates or screens.
Match Design Complexity to Printing Method
Simple 1-2 colour logos suit screen printing (cost-effective for bulk). Detailed, multi-colour, or photographic designs need offset or digital printing — worth confirming with your manufacturer before finalising artwork.
